Drax Power Station

Drax Power Station is a very famous thermal power station, located in Drax, North Yorkshire, England. The primary fuel is biomass, which is supplemented with coal and petcoke. Four of the six 660 MW units burn biomass.

It is the most powerful power station in the UK, capable of supplying around 6% of total consumption.
