Higashi-Niigata Thermal Power Station

Higashi-Niigata Thermal Power Station is a thermal power plant located in Seirō, Niigata, Japan, on the coast of the Sea of Japan. It has been in operation since 1971 and Heavy Oil is used as the main fuel in its blocks, Crude Oil and LNG.

The power plant consists of a total of eight units, two of which are already decommissioned. The total output of this power plant is 4810 MW.
