Peugeot 1007 is an interestingly designed city car, which has unconventionally sliding doors. In the offer of the well-known French carmaker, this model appeared only in the years 2004–2009.

The Peugeot 1007 could be bought with a total of three types of petrol engine of 1.4 and 1.6 liters and an output of 54-80 kW, as well as two diesels of 1.4 and 1.6 liters and power of 50 and 80 kW. All engines are four-cylinder.

In Peugeot 1007 gasoline cars, car batteries with a capacity of  45 – 55 Ah are used, and in diesels, batteries with a capacity of 60 – 53 Ah.

The Peugeot 1007 was assembled only at one plant, in Poissy, France. It was primarily designed for European markets. The Peugeot 1007 shared its chassis platform with the Peugeot 206, Citroen C2 and Citroen C3, their generation at the time.
