USS Ohio (BB-12)

USS Ohio (BB-12) is a Maine-class battleship that entered service with the United States Navy in October 1904. After commissioning, the ship served for two years in the Asian Fleet before returning to the United States in 1907. Then, like other ships, she joined the voyage of the Great White Fleet to join the Atlantic Fleet.

In 1914, she was transferred to Mexico, where she was tasked with protecting American interests during the Mexican Revolution.

After that, Ohio served as a training ship, and at the end of her career, the ship joined World War I. In 1923, the ship was sold for scrap.
