In 1963, the braking system was upgraded from a single-circuit arrangement to a dual-circuit system, while the gearshift was moved from the steering column to a conventional central position. In 1972, the electrical system received a more powerful 500-watt alternator, while engine output increased from approximately 31 kW to 33 kW.
