BMW i4

The BMW i4 is an electric car that appeared in the Bavarian automaker’s offer for the first time in 2021. It is on sale as a five-door liftback (four-door coupe). Depending on the selected drive, the customer can choose between rear-wheel drive (eDrive) or all-wheel drive (xDrive). Twin-engine all-wheel drive is available for the most powerful version with the designation M50.

This interesting model is built on a new platform, which the manufacturer refers to as CLAR. The car relies on MacPherson suspension on the front axle and on a multi-link axle at the rear.

The BMW i4 boasts an absolutely exemplary low drag coefficient. This is, of course, an absolutely crucial parameter for electric cars and their range. For the eDrive40 version, it has a value of 0.24 and for the M50 version it still has a great 0.25.
