BMW X5 car battery

The BMW X5 is a popular mid-size luxury crossover SUV that has been available from the Munich-based automaker since 1999. Depending on the selected version, the car is a five-seater or even a seven-seater version.

Available with a range of petrol and diesel engines, most cars are sold with four-wheel drive and automatic transmission.

The first generation BMW X5 with the designation E53 could be bought with a total of six types of gasoline engine (two six-cylinder and four eight-cylinder) with a capacity of 3.0 to 4.8 liters and power ranging from 163-265 kW, as well as three six-cylinder diesels with a capacity of 3.0 liters and a power of 135-160 kW.

The second generation X5 with the designation E70 has been produced since 2007 and there are a total of ten gasoline engines (six six-cylinder and four eight-cylinder) with a capacity of 3.0-4.8 liters and power from 171-408 kW, as well as nine diesels of 3.0 liters and power in the range of 155-280 kW.

The third generation BMW X5 with the designation F15 was produced in 2013-2018. 2.0, 3.0 and 4.4 liter petrol engines are on sale, the smallest engine is supplemented with an electric motor. Engine power is 225 – 331 kW. Diesel engines have a capacity of 2.0 and 3.0 liters. Their output is 160 – 280 kW.

In the petrol BMW X5 batteries with a capacity of 70-95 Ah are used, and in diesels then batteries with a capacity of 95 Ah.
