There are also diesel engines with a capacity of 1.5 liters and 2.0 liters. A diesel engine in combination with a mild hybrid is also available in some markets.

Ford Kuga of the first generation was assembled at the German plant of the famous automaker in the city of Saarlouis.

The second generation already comes from Valencia, Spain, but also Chongqing in China, Chungli in Taiwan, Yelabuga in Russia, and also from the United States in Louisville, Kentucky. In America, however, this model is sold as the Ford Escape.

The third generation of the Ford Kuga is assembled at the Spanish plant in Valencia, then in the United States in Louisville, in China in the city of Chongqing and also in Taiwan in Zhongli.
