Honda CR-V car battery

The Honda CR-V is a popular SUV that the well-known Japanese automaker has been offering in many world markets since 1995. Due to the nature of the car, it is clear that all-wheel drive versions are also available. This model is designed for sale in global markets, so it is not surprising that it is assembled in many places. Depending on the specific generation, production takes place in Japan, the United Kingdom, China, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia and or India.

The first generation Honda CR-V was produced from 1996 to 2002 and was available with only three types of gasoline engine with a capacity of 2.0 liters and power ranging from 94-108 kW.

The second generation was produced in 2002-2006 and was on sale with three types of gasoline engine of 2.0 and 2.4 liters and a power of 110-118 kW, as well as a diesel of 2.2 liters and a power of 103 kW.

The third generation was produced in 2006-2012 and sold a total of thirteen types of gasoline unit with a capacity of 2.0 and 2.4 liters (six with all-wheel drive) and power in the range of 105-134 kW, as well as two diesels (both with 4×4 drive) with a capacity of 2.2 liters and a power of 103 and 110 kW.

The fourth generation has been produced since 2012 and can be bought so far with seven types of gasoline engine with a capacity of 2.0-2.4 liters and an output of 110-140 kW and two diesels of 1.6 and 2.2 liters and an output of 88-110 kW.

The fifth generation Honda CR-V was produced from 2016 to 2023. It is on sale with gasoline engines of 1.5, 2.0 and 2.4 liters and have a power in the range of 113 – 142 kW. Diesels have a capacity of 1.6 liters and have a power of 89 and 119 kW. Hybrid drives with an output of 158 kW are also available.
