The VW Touareg is an SUV that has been in the traditional brand’s line-up since 2002. It is bigger and more luxurious than the VW Tiguan.

The first generation of the Touareg was on sale with a total of six petrol engines (three six-cylinder, two eight-cylinder and one twelve-cylinder) with a capacity of 3.2-6.0 liters and a power of 162-331 kW, as well as seven diesels (two five-cylinder, three six-cylinder and two ten-cylinder) with a capacity of 2.5-5.0 liters and a power of 120-257 kW.

The second generation Touareg has been sold since 2010 and is sold with a total of five petrol engines (four six-cylinder and one eight-cylinder) with a capacity of 3.0-4.2 liters and an output of 183-265 kW, as well as five diesels (four six-cylinder and one eight-cylinder) of 3.0-4.2 liters and 150-250 kW.

The third generation VW Touareg has been on sale since 2018. Depending on the specific market, it is on sale with a 2.0 and 3.0 (six-cylinder) liter gasoline engine. Diesel engines with a capacity of 3.0 /six-cylinder/ and 4.0 /eight-cylinder/ liter are also available. A plug-in hybrid is also available.
