BMW 5 car battery

BMW 5 is a series of passenger cars and executive car parameters (E-segment), which first appeared on the market in 1972. The BMW 5 often carries successful managers and directors, or politicians.

Depending on the specific generation of this model, body versions of the 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon and 5-door fastback (GT serie). Models with both gasoline and diesel engines are available, in versions with front-wheel drive and also all-wheel drive.

The fifth generation BMW 5 (pictured) was produced from 2003 to 2010 and could be bought with a total of twenty-six types of gasoline engine (twenty of them six-cylinder, three eight-cylinder and one ten-cylinder) with a capacity ranging from 2.0 to 5.0 liters and power from 115-373 kW, as well as seventeen diesels (of which fourteen six-cylinders) with a capacity of 2.0 – 3.0 liters and power from 110-210 kW.

The sixth generation of the BMW 5 has been produced since 2010 and so far can be bought with a total of seventeen types of gasoline engine (two hybrids, nine six-cylinders and five eight-cylinders) with a capacity of 2.0 to 4.4 liters and a power of 120-412 kW, and with fifteen diesels (eight six-cylinders) with a capacity of 2.0-3.0 liters and a power of 105-230 kW.

The seventh generation of the BMW 5 went into production in 2016 and went on sale in 2017. It is on sale with gasoline engines of 1.6, 2.0, 3.0 and 4.4 liters. Their power is in the range of 125 – 447 kW. Of course there are also diesels with a content of 2.0 and 3.0 liters. Their power is 110 – 294 kW. In addition, PHEV versions with 2.0 and 3.0 litre can also be ordered.

In the petrol cars of the BMW 5 batteries with a capacity of 80 Ah are used, and in diesels the batteries with a capacity of 95-110 Ah.
