Opel Vectra car battery

The Opel Vectra is a passenger car with the parameters of the D-segment, which the traditional car manufacturer from Germany sold in three generations between 1988 and 2010. It was replaced by the Opel Insignia.

Opel Vectra of the 1st generation was produced in 1988-1995, and on sale there were a total of twenty-seven types of gasoline engine (two six-cylinder engines)(eight models with 4×4 drive) with a capacity of 1.4-2.5 liters and power ranging from 51-150 kW, as well as three diesels of 1.7 liters and a power of 42-60 kW.

The second generation of the Vectra was produced in 1995-2002, and on sale there were a total of fourteen types of gasoline engine with a capacity of 1.6-2.6 liters and a power of 55-143 kW, as well as five diesels of 1.7 , 2.0 and 2.2 liters and a power of 60-92 kW.

The third generation Vectra (at Opel referred to as Vectra C) was produced from 2002 to 2008 and sold a total of thirteen types of gasoline engine (5 six-cylinders) with a capacity of 1.6-3.2 liters and a power of 74-206 kW, as well as with eight diesels (two six-cylinders) with a capacity of 1.9-3.0 liters and a power of 74-135 kW.

In Opel Vectra gasoline cars, car batteries with a capacity of  55 – 70 Ah are used, and in diesels, batteries with a capacity of 70 – 80 Ah.

Opel Vectra A was assembled in factories: Belgium: Antwerp, Brazil: São Caetano do Sul, Egypt: 6th of October City (GME), England: Luton, Germany: Eisenach, Germany: Rüsselsheim, Indonesia: Bekasi (GMBI), Turkey: İzmir, Venezuela: Caracas (General Motors Valencia) and Yugoslavia: Kikinda (IDA-Opel).

Opel Vectra B was produced in factories: Australia: Elizabeth, S.A. (GM-Holden Elizabeth), Belgium: Antwerp (Opel Antwerp plant), Brazil: São Caetano do Sul (GM em São Caetano), Egypt: 6th of October City (GME), England: Ellesmere Port (Vauxhall Ellesmere Port), England : Luton (Luton car assembly plant), Germany: Rüsselsheim,Taiwan: Xinzhuang District (Chinese Automobile Co., Ltd.) and Turkey: Torbalı, İzmir (GM Turkiye Ltd.).
