The Volvo V70 is a large E-segment estate that was offered by the Swedish brand from 1996 to 2016. The car was available not only with front, but also with four-wheel drive.

The first generation of the Volvo V70 was produced from 1996 to 2000 and was sold with a total of twenty-five types of gasoline engine with a capacity of 2.0-2.5 liters and a power of 93-195 kW, as well as two five-cylinder diesels of 2.5 liters and a capacity of 103 kW.

The second generation of the Volvo V70 was sold from 2000 and was sold with a total of seventeen five-cylinder gasoline engines of 2.0-2.5 liters and a power of 103-221 kW, as well as seven five-cylinder diesels of 2.4 and 2.5 liters and 93-136 kW.

The third generation of the Volvo V70 has been sold since 2007 and four-, five- and six-cylinder engines are available. There are seventeen gasoline engines with a capacity of 1.6-3.2 liters and a power of 107-224 kW, as well as with eighteen types of gasoline engine of 1.6-2.4 liters and a power of 80-158 kW.

The first generation Volvo V70 was assembled in Sweden (Torslanda), Belgium (Ghent) and Canada (Halifax). The second generation was created in Sweden (Torslanda), Belgium (Ghent) and Thailand (Samut Prakan). The third generation was then assembled only in its home country of Sweden.
