Airbus A319
The Airbus 319 is essentially a shortened version of the Airbus A320, with which it shares most of the parts and technology. It is therefore a classic narrow-body twin-engine aircraft designed for short-range medium-range routes.
The first Airbus A319 flight took place on 25 August 1995 and entered commercial service in April 1996 with Swissair. Of course, the great advantage of this model was that it shares the type qualification with other machines from the A320 family, so it was not necessary to retrain crews accustomed to these machines.
