Airbus A340
The Airbus A340 is an airliner that was a well-known company developed for long routes. This four-engine aircraft with a wide fuselage can carry up to 380 passengers, depending on the specific version. The Airbus A340 was produced from 1991 to 2011, when it was replaced by a more modern aircraft.
The aircraft is based on the design of the twin-engine Airbus A330 and shares some parts with it. The first flight was made on 25 October 1991 and was put into full operation for the first time by the German company Lufthansa on 15 March 1993. A total of 380 aircraft were produced in various versions, of which 377 were delivered to airline customers.
