Volkswagen Golf car battery

The Volkswagen Golf is a popular C-segment vehicle that has been continuously available from the traditional German car manufacturer since 1974. In all generations it is available as a hatchback, later added a station wagon. In some generations, it is also available as a convertible.

The Golf also served as the technical basis for other derived cars, such as the VW Bora and the VW Corrado.

The sixth generation VW Golf (Mk6) was sold only with four-cylinder engines and one type of petrol five-cylinder. Gasoline versions have a capacity of 1.2, 1.4, 1.6, 1.8, 2.0 and 2.5 liters. The output of these engines is 59 – 199 kW (R version). Diesel engines have a volume of 1.6, 1.9 and 2.0 liters and a power in the range of 66 – 125 kW.

The seventh generation VW Golf (Mk7) was sold with 1.0, 1.2, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0 liter petrol engines, where the 1.0 liter engine is a three cylinder and the others are four cylinders. The output of these engines is 63 – 228 kW (R Version). There is also a hybrid drive based on the 1.4 Tsi engine. Of course, there are also 1.6- and 2.0-liter diesels with an output of 66 – 135 kW.

The eighth generation of the VW Golf has been produced since 2019. It is available with 1.0 and 1.5 liter gasoline engines with a power of 66 – 110 kW. Hybrids with a capacity of 1.4 liters and power of 150 and 180 kW are also available. There are still two 2.0-litre diesels with 85 and 110 kW respectively.

The seventh generation VW Golf (Mk7) is a car for global markets and thus was assembled in many places. Production took place in factories: Germany: Wolfsburg (Wolfsburg Plant); Zwickau (Zwickau-Mosel Plant); Dresden (Transparent Factory) (e-Golf only), China: Changchun; Foshan (FAW-VW), Mexico: Puebla (Volkswagen de México), Brazil: São José dos Pinhais (Volkswagen do Brasil) and Indonesia: Jakarta (National Assemblers).
