Renault Mégane car battery

Renault Megane is a passenger car with the parameters of the C segment, which has appeared in the offer of the traditional French manufacturer since 1995, when it replaced the Renault 19. Depending on the generation, it is available as a hatchback, station wagon, sedan, coupe or convertible.

The first generation Renault Megane was sold with gasoline engines with a capacity of 1.4 – 2.0 liters and a power of 51–108 kW. The diesels had a capacity of 1.9 liters and a power of 47–75 kW.

The second generation Renault Megane was produced from 2002 to 2008 and was sold with a total of 10 types of petrol and 13 types of diesel engine. The engines ranged from 1390 to 1998 cc and power output ranged from 60 to 169 KW (169 KW has a 2.0 Renault Sport version).

The third generation of the Renault Megane was sold with gasoline four-cylinder engines of 1.2 – 2.0 liters. Their power is in the range of 85 – 201 kW. Diesels with capacities of 1.5, 1.6, 1.9 and 2.0 liters were also available. These are also four-cylinder and their power is 63 – 118 kW.

The fourth generation Megane can be purchased with petrol engines of 1.0 (three-cylinder), 1.2, 1.3, 1.6 and 1.8 liters. Diesels have a capacity of 1.5, 1.6 and 1.7 liters. There is also a hybrid, the basis of which is a gasoline engine with a capacity of 1.6 liters.

The first generation of the Renault Megane was assembled in Turkey (Bursa), France (Douai), Spain (Palencia), Belgium (Haren-Vilvoorde), Russia (Moscow), Argentina (Santa Isabel) and Colombia (Envigado).

The second generation of the Renault Megane was assembled in Turkey (Bursa), France (Douai), Spain (Palencia), Brazil(Curitiba), Iran (Tehran) and also Indonesia (Jakarta).

The third generation of the Megane was assembled in far fewer locations than the previous ones. Specifically in Turkey (Bursa), France (Douai), Spain (Palencia).
