Toyota Avensis is a passenger car with the parameters of the D-segment, which was produced and sold from 1997 to 2018. It is available as both a sedan and a station wagon. The Toyota Avensis is a model that has been designed from the beginning primarily for the European markets and the needs and preferences of local customers. The assembly of all three generations took place only in Great Britain, at the plant in Burnaston.
The first generation Avensis could be bought with a total of seven types of gasoline engine with a capacity of 1.6 to 2.0 liters and power ranging from 74-110 kW, as well as four diesels of 1.9 and 2.0 liters and power from 61 to 85 kW.
The second generation of Toyota was sold with six types of gasoline engine with a capacity of 1.6 to 2.4 liters and power ranging from 110-170 kW, and with five types of diesel units of 2.0 and 2.2 liters and power from 74-130 kW.
The third generation Avensis can be purchased with a total of three types of gasoline engine with a capacity of 1.6 to 2.0 liters and power from 97-112 kW and with four diesels of 2.0 and 2.2 liters and a power of 91-130 kW.
