USS Illinois (BB-7)

USS Illinois (BB-7) is a battleship of the United States Navy, which was also the lead ship of the Illinois class.

After the end of her active service, she was used as a training ship from 1912, and in 1924 she was converted into a floating armory. In January 1941, she was renamed Prairie State to release her name to BB-65.
