USS Missouri (BB-11)
USS Missouri (BB-11) is a battleship that entered service with the United States Navy on December 1, 1903. With its parameters, she ranked in the Maine class, as the second of the ships of this classification.
USS Missouri (BB-11) spent her entire active service in the Atlantic, first with the North Atlantic Fleet, which was later referred to simply as the Atlantic Fleet. In 1910 she was withdrawn from service and served for training purposes, only to be called back into service with the beginning of the First World War. In January 1922, however, her fate was finally sealed and she was sold for scrapping.
